WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (23-0, 11 COs) scored a ninth round of TKO from contender Josh Padley (15-1, 4 COs) on Saturday night in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Padley was down the ninth round of body shots three times before his corner threw in the towel. It was a good decision because he had no chance. Shakur rinsed on him in ninth place without afraid something is thrown back to him.
Despite being excessive and underhearing for the assignment, Padley fought courageously and sometimes fought from Shakur.
