Boxing results: Mason Stop Nakathila – Video -Highlights


Abdullah Mason (19-0, 17 food) defeated Jeremiah ‘Low Key’ Nakathila (26-5, 21 COs) with a fifth round technical knockout in a lightweight Saturday night in the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.

In the first two rounds, Mason had a slight lead. In the third round, Mason Nakathila surpassed battle with the fight. In the fourth round, Mason Nakathila thrown on the chin with a left with a left. Nakathila has a significant swelling around the left eye, which urged the doctor to stop.

In the Co-Main event, Southpaw Kelvin Davis (15-1, 8 COs) lost a 10-round majority decision to Nahir Albright (17-2, 7 COs).

In the first round, Albright used a right against Southpaw Davis, which managed to take a near round. In the second round, Albright landed an upper hand on the chin and drove Davis against the ropes. In the third round, there was too much hold by Davis.

In the fourth rounds’ final seconds, a counter of Albright to Ken of Davis kept him. In the fifth round, Albright would end up a punch, and Davis would immediately pull him into a clinic. Referee Malik Waleed had to take a point from Davis for continuous hold.

In the seventh round, referee Waleed Davis finally warned for Holding. Davis started fighting in the last minute without holding. Albright had a small cut to his right eye due to a head bud by Davis. In the eighth round it was close to Albright with a slight lead.

In the ninth round, Albright takes another near round. In the tenth and last round, Albright came out and landed a left hook to Davis’s chin and got his attention and grabbed him Albright in a clinic. From a clinic, Albright ended up a right to Ken of Davis

The scores were 95-95, 97-93 and 96-94.

Middleweight Southpaw EURI ‘La Bazuca’ Cedeno (12-0-1, 11 food) knocked Abel ‘Authentic’ Mina (18-4-1, 9 COs) to five rounds of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first three rounds, Cedeno Mina chased and surpassed. In the fifth round, Cedeno dropped Mina in the final seconds with a right. At the end of the round, Mina’s corner brought a standstill.

Welterweight Olympic Delante ‘Tiger’ Johnson (16-0, 7 food) defeated Janelson Bocachica (17-4-1, 11 COs) with a unanimous decision of 10 round.

In the first five rounds it was nearby, with Johnson with a slight lead. In the sixth round, Bocachica had a good round.

In the ninth round, it went back and forth with Bocachica going to the body, Johnson after the ropes at the clock. In the tenth and last round, Johnson Bocachica exceeded in a near round.

The scores were 100-90, 97-93 and 98-92. Chris Flores was the referee.

The middleweight Olympic Troy ‘Transformer’ Isley (15-0, 5 COs) defeated Etoundi Michel William (16-2, 12 COs) with a unanimous 10 round decision.

In the first five rounds, Isley William exceeded a strong body attack and won all five rounds. In the seventh round, Isley sustained a small cut on the outside of his left eye.

In the eighth round, Isley came back even stronger and took another round. In the ninth round, William became the aggressor knowing he was well behind. In the tenth and last round, it was William who used his reach to take a round.

The scores were 98-92, 96-94 and 96-94. Malik Waleed was the referee.

Lightweight Deric ‘Scooter’ Davis (7-0, 7 food) stops Naem Parker (5-3, 2 COs) at the end of the second round of a scheduled six rounds.

In the final seconds of the second round, Davis landed a left head letter to the body, and Down has Parker for the Count of Referee Clancy.

Welterweight Keon ‘DB3’ Davis (4-0, 3 cost) Michael A. Velez-Garcia (3-1, 2 COs) knocked out of the second round of a scheduled six rounds at 2:22.

In the second round, Davis landed a right, followed by a left to the body, and downside Velez-Garcia, crawl across the ring and counted by referee Bill Clancy.

Cruiserweight ‘Irish’ Patrick O’Connor (1-0, 1 KO) stopped Marcus Smith (2-2, 2 food) at about 02:03 of the second round of a scheduled four rounds.

In the second round, O’Connor landed a right cup to the body, had him in the corner and hurt when referee Bill Clancy gave him a standing 8 score. Shortly later, O’Connor Smith stops with several unanswered blows, while referee Clancy comes to a standstill.
