Liam Wilson and Youssef Dib just threw in a rematch so violent, so chaotic that it somehow exceeded their first war.
From the first clock it was pure massacre. Wilson came in with bad intentions and dropped Dib twice early and looked like he could end it quickly. But Dib did not have it not dug, refused to stay down and turn the fight into an overall war. Against the middle rounds, they swung like two blocks that put a grudge in a parking lot.

Tension cooked over each damn round. Referee Chris Condon would have been just such a jump on a Friday night, because he had his hands full to tear these two from each other to the bell apart. The chaos reached a peak when Wilson ended up a low blow with Billy Dib – yes, Youssef’s brother and former world champion – is ready to jump the ropes and throw hands. The man had to be physically held in. Wilson lost a point, but no one held the score at that point-it was a full chaos.
After ten rounds of absolute violence, judges Wilson gave the unanimous decision with a scores of 96-91, 96-91 and 95-92. Fair result, but Dib deserves all the respect in the world to make it a fight when most would have folded.
Now, Wilson has bigger fish to fry – O’Shaqui Foster for a world title? George Kambosos jr. In an all-aussie superfight? Either way, get your beers ready because these blocks are a problem for someone at 130.
To add even more fuel to the fire, Keith Thurman and Tim Tszyu were on Fox Sports Commentary, who break it all down like a few friends in the bar – just if it needs more star power this night.
