Super Flyweight Leanna ‘2 Much’ Cruz (11-0, 1 food) defeated Regina ‘Rony’ Chavez (8-6-3, 1 CO’s) with a unanimous decision of 10 round to conquer the WBA title Friday night in the 2300 arena in Philadelphia, father.
Cruz was dropped in the first round, which may have sustained a left knee injury, and later sustained a broken nose.
In the first round, a right of Chavez on the Ken Cruz dropped for an 8 scores by referee Ricky Gonzalez. Cruz can submit a left knee injury afterwards. In the second round, Cruz jumped back and took a near round. Through five rounds, Chavez threw more bumps, but both ended up about the same.


In the seventh round, Chavez landed a right, causing a flow of blood from the nose of cruz, which may cause a broken nose. In the ninth round, Cruz came back well and took the round. In the tenth and final round
Scores 96-93, 97-92 and 95-94.
In the co-function, Israel “Badways” Mercado (13-1-2, 7 COs) won a 10-round majority decision over the NABF Super Lightweight Champ Branden Pizzaro (20-2-1, 11 COs).
In the first four rounds, it went back and forth in a close battle. In the sixth round, Mercado had its best round.
In the ninth round, Mercado Pizzaro drove around the ring. In the tenth and last round, Mercado was warned for a low blow by referee Eric Dali Midway. Again, he did most of the chase in a close battle to the end.
The scores were 95-95, 97-93 and 96-94.
Super lightweight Kurt Scooby (17-1, 15 food) stopped Haskell ‘Hackman’ Rhodes (31-8-1, 16 COs) after the sixth round of a scheduled 10.
In the third round, a right of Scooby to the Ken of Rhodes dropped him for an 8 scores by referee Ricky Gonzalez. In the sixth, Scooby Rhodes overwhelmed. At the end of the rounds, Haskell’s Corner brought a standstill.
The middleweight Tamir Smalls (15-0, 11 costs) has Clarence ‘Mr. St. Pete ‘Booth (21-12 (14) at 1:26 of the second round of a scheduled 8.
In the second round, Smalls landed a right of the head of the head and dropped the stand. When he got up, he fell to a knee, seemed to have sustained a leg injury, while referee Eric Dali blew it down.
Welterweight Tyem ‘Mobanga’ Haywood (6-0, 6 food) knocked out Frank Brown (3-13-2, 1 cost) at 0:44 of the first round of a scheduled 4.
After a little over half a minute of the first round, Haywood landed a left hook to the body and dropped Brown for the spade of referee Ricky Gonzalez.
The featherweight Robin ‘Gravegger’ Ellis (6-12, 5 food) was stopped by Keith ‘Tsumani’ colon (6-0, 6 costs) at 1:02 of the second round of a scheduled 6.
In the first, with more than a minute left, a right of the colon on the Ken Ellis dropped for an 8 scores by referee Eric Dali. In just under a minute, a left hook of the colon on the chin dropped Ellis for a second 8 scores.
In the second round, in a minute, a right on the chin of colon Ellis dropped for a third time, causing referee Dali to averted it.
