Boxing results: Kenshiro ‘The Amazing Boy’ Teraji Stop Seigo Yuri


WBC World Flyweight Champion Kenshiro ‘The Amazing Boy’ Teraji came from behind to stop the WBA champion Seigo Yuri Kui in the twelfth and final round in the main meeting in a unification in the Kokugikan, in Tokyo, Japan.

Teraji, 25-1 (16) knocked out of the 12th and final round at 1:31. In the third round, the Teraji climbed into the chin with a right side. In the sixth round, they took turns shaking each other. In the eighth round, Kui took another round.

Teraji landed half a dozen unanswered push in the twelfth and final round before Kui grabbed him in a clinic. Several blows later from Teraji and referee Katsuhiko Nakamura brought a standby. Teraji was in the back of the scorecards with a score of 108-106, 105-104 and 105-104.

WBO World Flyweight Champion Anthony ‘Princesa’ Olascuaga, 9-1 (6) defeated Hiroto Kyoguchi, 19-3 (12) with a unanimous decision of 12 round.

The scores were 117-110, 118-109 and 114-113. The referee was Jose Hiram Rivera

WBO World Light Flyweight Champion Shokichi Iwata, 14-2 (11) lost to Rene ‘Chulo’ Santiago, 14-4 (9) by a unanimous 12-round decision.

The scores were 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. The referee was Benjamin Rodriguez

Bantamweight Tomoya Tsuboi, 1-0 (1) battle Boonruang Phayom, 14-4 (14) at 2:34 of the second round of a scheduled eight round battle.

In the second round, Tsuboi Phayom had defenseless and stopped him.

Lightweight Yuki Nagano, 0-1) lost to Southpaw Takumi Ebina, 2-1 (1) by a unanimous decision of four round.

The scores were 38-37, 38-37 and 38-37.
