2012 Olympic gold medalist and current WBO, WBC, IBF and IBO Super Lightweight Champion Katie Taylor (25-1, 6 COs) won a 10 round on Friday night over Amanda “The Real Deal” (47-4-1, 31 food) in front of a sales in the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
In the first six rounds, too few blows, which were largely short, with Serrano the aggressor. In the seventh round, Taylor had a lead over Serrano in the eighth round.
In the ninth round it was nearby, with Serrano having a lead. In the tenth and last round, it was probably the best of the fight. A draw would be right.
The scores were 95-95, 97-93 and 97-93. Harvey Dock was the referee.
IBF, IBO, WBO Super Bantamweight Champion Ellie Scotney (11-0, 6 food) defeated the WBC Super Bantam champion Yamileth ‘Yeimi’ Mercado (24-4, 5 COs) by a unanimous 10 round decision to unite titles.
In the first five rounds, Scotney had a lead with a left hook for the most part. In sixth place, both Scotney and Mercado were cut over the right eye. In the ninth round, Scotney Mercado threw to the cloth. In the tenth and last round, the noise continued with Scotney who took another round with blood flowing from both.
The scores were 100-90, 98-92 and 98-92. Sparkle Lee was the referee.
In the Co-Main event, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO Super Featherweight Champion Alycia ‘The Bomb’ Baumgardner (16-1, 7 costs) Jennifer Miranda (12-1, 1 KO) with a unanimous decision of 10 round.
In the first three rounds, Baumgardner had a lead. In the final seconds of the fourth round, both boxers beat. In the fourth round, Miranda returned to Outlandish Baumgardner. In the fifth round, it was Baumgardner who worked out Miranda, who returned to take the sixth round.
In the seventh and eighth rounds, Miranda had a slight lead, which Baumgardner had outside the country. In the ninth round, both had their moments. In the tenth and last round, it was all action against the bell, while Baumgardner pulled it out.
The scores were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93. Ricky Gonzalez was the referee.
The IBF World Super Middeeight Champion Savanah ‘Silent Assassin’ Marshall (13-2, 10 COs) lost a 10-round decision to WBO World Champion Shadasia Green (16-1, 11 COs).
In the first two rounds, Taller Marshall used her stitch to control the rounds. Referee Thomas Taylor warned Green for possession. In the third round, Green returned to win a near round. In the fourth round, referee Taylor took a point of Green to hold.
In the fifth round, Green Marshall expressed and ended the round with a right to Ken of Marshall. In the sixth through the eighth rounds, Green Marshall exceeded an even fight. In the ninth round, Marshall came back well and took the round. In the tenth and last round, the supporters cheered both boxers, because Green may have taken it out.
The scores were 95-94, 96-93 for Green, and 96-93 for Marshall. Thomas Taylor was the referee.
