Former two-time featherweight champion Josh Warrington (32-4-1, 8 COs) lost a three-match to defeat veteran Asad Asif Khan (19-7-1, 5 COs) by a more difficult one-time decision in the Park Community Arena in Sheffield, England.

The scores were 99-89, 99-90 and 97-91.
Khan looked like he was folding through the center of the competition, but he came back and fought quite well from the seventh round. He pushed on Warrington and occasionally threw from the right side of the outside from the outside. In the last four rounds, Josh looked tired and held a lot.
Khan looked like the stronger fighter from the seventh round, pressed Josh and forced him to hold. Warrington’s power was gone, and he didn’t look comfortable with the determination Khan showed. You can say that this Indian native really wanted to win while taking out his heart, and Warrington did not expect this kind of struggle.
Illegal blows
He also threw the recurring rabbit states that looked in his arsenal for his primary weapon tonight. Many referees would have penalized Warrington for the use of that punch, but it was constant of the 34-year-old.
Warrington dropped Khan in the sixth round with a right side of the right on the back of his head. The referee did not see it. Later on the round, referee Khan penalized for losing his mouthpiece. He lost his mouthpiece at least four times in battle.
It was striking. The push at the back of the head throwing Warrington should have led to at least two point deductions, if not more. I saw a fighter get away with so many blatant rabbit stems without being penalized or disqualified.
Based on this performance of Warrington, it would be a bad idea to tackle any of the top fighters at 126 or 130. The DAZN commentators discuss the possibility that he is a challenge for a world title next time. It’s crazy. With a record of 1-3 in his last four fights, he doesn’t deserve to fight for a title. Warrington would be destroyed by any of the champions in any section. It wouldn’t be sports.
