In the main event, Featherweight, Jan Paul Rivera (13-0, 7 CO’s) ‘The Devotion’ Daniel Bailey (15-3, 8 COs) stopped at 2:58 of the sixth round of a scheduled 10 rounds Friday night in the Caribe Royale Orlando, Orlando, Florida.
In the first round of the first round, Rivera landed a left hook to the chin and dropped Bailey for an 8 scores of Feferee Luis Pabon. He managed to get back enough to get through the round. In the second round, Rivera continued to get his way. Bailey was twice warned for violations by referee Pabon. In the third round, Bailey had a better round. In the fourth round, Rivera Bailey rushes around the ring and easily takes the round.
In the fifth round, Rivera continued to land Bailey, who landed just a few counters. In the sixth round’s last half minute, Rivera landed a right on the chin and dropped Bailey for an 8 scores of referee Pabon. In the final seconds, a wave of push landed, which forced referee Pabon to stop.
The Southpaw Junior Middle Weight Yoels ‘La Joya’ Gomez (9-1 (7 costs) won a 10-round majority decision over Edwine Humaine, Jr. (9-2, 7 COs) for the WBA Continental title.
In the first three rounds, Gomez exceeded Humaine. In the fourth round, Humaine returned in the last minute and held its own.
In the fifth round, Gomez landed great clues to the chin, but Humaine came back with good body work, not enough to take the round.
In the sixth round, Humaine seemed to take his first round in a fight, with both their moments. Humaine moved Gomez around the ring for the first time.
In the seventh round, Humaine again exceeded Gomez, who had his moment, but delayed, while Humaine ended the round a bit.
In the first two minutes of the eighth round it went back and forth. In the final seconds of the eighth round, Gomez Humaine shook on the chin with a left. In the ninth round, the action continues. In the last half minute, Gomez shook Humaine with an edge on the chin and took the round. In the tenth and last round, Gomez largely had his way.
Luis Pabon was the referee. The scores were 95-95, 96-94 and 97-93.
Lightweight Corey ‘at smooth’ Marksman (12-0-1, 9) impressed to knock out the South Poot Luis ‘Bebo’ Martinez (9-2, 4 COs) at 0:19 from the seventh round of a scheduled eight rounds.
In the first round, Marksman had a lead. In the final seconds of the second round, Markson Martinez shook with an upper hand on the chin of a game of Martinez. In the third round, Marksman turned Southpaw and dominated the back to the final seconds when Martinez supported him in a corner.
In the fourth round, Markson, from an angle, landed half a dozen bumps and a game of Martinez drove back a few steps. In the fifth round, Markson dominated to the tip of the nearby stop of Martinez.
In the sixth round, Markson Martinez injured in the final seconds with a left hand to the chin. In the seventh round, three rights ended with a left hand of Markson on the chin of Martinez, referee Chris Young, who stopped.
Light Welterweight Tayre Jones (13-1, 7 food) lost his first battle against Alexander Rios Vega (10-2, 3 COs) through a unanimous eight-round decision.
The scores were 78-74, 78-74 and 78-74.
Welterweight Pedro ‘Diamond of Sliva Conception (5-0, 3 food) knocked out Renny Vionte (4-2-1, 2 COs) at 1:59 from the second round.
In the second round, Viamonte dropped the first place of the right hand on the chin.
The heavyweight Damazion ‘Mazi’ Deer (9-0, 6 COs) stopped Colby Madison (11-9-3, 7 COs) around 02:48 from the first round of a scheduled six rounds.
In the first round’s final thirty seconds, Danter ended a loop on the chin and dropped Madison for the spade
Featherweight Carlos Jamil de Leon Castro (5-0, 4 costs) knocked South Poot Haminton BLANDO (3-1-1, 1 KO) at 1:47 of the second round of a scheduled six rounds.
In the second round, Castro Bandon had trouble against the ropes when referee Luis Pabon brought a standby.
Super-featherweight Olympic Jahmal Harvey (1-0, 1 ko) made an impression on the stop of ‘El Diamonds’ Marcelo del Aguila (5-2, 1 KO) at the end of the first round of a scheduled six rounds.
In the first round, Harvey had his way and turned south in the last minute and drove Aguila to the ropes. Between rounds, Del Aguila refused to get out of the corner.
