Moses Itauma (12-0, 10 cost) crushed the game, but limited Mike Balogun (21-2, 16 COs), and knocked out in the second round of a 10-round heavyweight attack in the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
Balogun fought surprisingly aggressively and rushed the 254-pound outlook Itauma during the short two-round fought. The overly aggressive approach led to Balogun dropping in the first round with an orchard of the left hand.

Balogun’s daring aggression is back
At the beginning of the second round, Balogun came out of the gate, as he rushed and immediately fell with a perfectly placed right hook to the head. Itauma ends up right at the bottom and shows speed and precision placement. Balogun went down as if he had been shot with a bullet. He remained until the nine score before he got up and looked unharmed.
Despite being dropped twice, Balogun showed no fear and attacked Itauma as if he had him where he wanted. Itauma’s appearance was concerned because he knew this man was determined to win, and he had more than enough power to cause a dismay if he was allowed to hang around.
Balogun charged Itauma, looking for a big shot, but he walked into another right hook that dropped him flat on his back for the third Knockdown. This time, referee John Latham stopped the fight. Balogun looked surprised when he got up, but Latham saw enough. The time of the downtime was 0:46 of round two.
