Frazer Clarke’s one-round demolition on Ebenezer Tetteh ended in absolute chaos after the beating Ghanese lost the plot and handled Kevin Parker, referee.
Clarke, who still stands for a long time after needing his skull, thanks to Fabio Wardley last year, didn’t even break a sweat. Tetteh swung as if trying to catch flies, Clarke once hit him properly, and Tetteh folded like a cheap chair. Fight over. Finished. Dusted off.
Referee Parker did not want to take Tetteeh more punishment and stepped in right. And what did Tetteh do? Respect shows? Accept the call like a professional? No. He grabs the referee like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum. Shameful.
Security had to penetrate and separate him after moving Parker, an action that showed nothing but the total respect for the sport, the officials and himself. Instead of standing there and facing the music, Tetteh left it straight out of the ring and rushed to the locker rooms before the rash could even be announced. Embarrassment of behavior.
Meanwhile, Clarke did not allow the mess to take the brilliance of his night. He has rightly soaked with his team at the moment, although someone with a brain knows that he needs a real opponent if he is going to chase world title creams.
Clarke said after the fight: Clarke said:
“I have called for the kind of action since my debut. I came through a few dark times, so it feels incredible. People can use it all, but I was just as happy to be in the boxing ring again. ‘
Tetteh? He must be ashamed.
