Boxing results: Canelo Alvarez achieves undisputed super -mid -weight status and defeats William Scull for the IBF title in the landmark Riyadh victory


WBA, WBC, and WBO World Super Middleweight Champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 food) added the IBF title and defeated IBF champion William ‘El Indomable’ Scull (23-1, 9 costs with a one-only decision to become a two-time uninjured 168-LB champion in Riyad.

In the first four rounds it was an even attack. In the fifth round, Alvarez had a lead. In the sixth round, Scull Landing Rights Out Landing Alvarez was. It seems the fight was even after six.

In the seventh round, Alvarez went to the body more and gave him an edge as Scull moved more around the ring. In the eighth round there was very little action. In the ninth round, Alvarez landed the larger shots.

In the tenth round, Scull had one of his best rounds. However, the fight did not fulfill its hype. In the eleventh round, Alvarez tried to lift the air in the air because of his frustration. In the twelfth and final rounds, the supporters asked more and more action. Alvarez went to the body when Scull opposed him.

The scores were 115-113, 116-112 and 119-109. Kieran McCann was the referee.

Former WBC Super Middleweight, WBA Light Heavyweight, and current WBC World Cruiserweight Champion Badou ‘The Ripper’ Jack, 29-3-3 (17), won a disputed 12-round majority decision on Norair ‘The Dark Horse’ Mikaeljan, 27-3 (12).

In the first five rounds, it went back and forth with Mikaeljan who had a lead. In the ninth round, Mikaeljan Jack expanded for the most part.

From the tenth to the twelfth, Mikaeljan seemed to have a lead.

The scores were 114-114, 115-113 and 115-113.

Former WBC Silver Super Middleweight Champion Jaime Munguia, 45-2 (35), beat Bruno ‘Brunello’ Surace, 26-1-2 (5), with a unanimous 12 round decision in their Rematch.

In the first five rounds, Surace Munguia surpassed. In the seventh round, both had their moments when Munguia came out and encountered through Surace. In the tenth and final round it went back and forth.

The scores were 116-112, 116-112 and 117-111. Bob Williams was the referee.

Heavyweight Martin Bakole, 21-2-1 (15) against Efe Ajagba, 20-1-1 (14), ends in a 10-round-level result.

In the first five rounds, Bakole was the aggressor. In the seventh round, Bakole Ajagba had the ropes pushing with a wave. In the ninth round, Bakole held to Ajagba and asked him to stop running. In the tenth and final round, Bakole, knowing he was behind, retained the pressure on Ajagba and expanded him.

Scores 95-95, 95-95 and 96-94 Bakole. Howard Foster was the referee.

Light heavyweight Brayan Leon, 7-0 (6), defeated Aaron Rocha Guerrero, 11-4-1 (7), with a six-round decision. In the fourth round, Leon Guerrero dropped an 8 scores by referee Bob Williams.

Middleweight Southpaw Marco ‘Green’ Verde, 1-0 (1), Stop Michel Galvan Polina, 4-6-3 (2), at 1:34 of the first round of a six-round fight. In the first round, Verde recorded a few KnockDowns, which forced referee Bob Williams to stop the fight.

The heavyweight Richard Riakporhe, 18-1 (14), achieved a fourth round TKO from Kevin Nicolas Espindola, 9-10 (4). In the fourth round, Riakporhe scored a knockout over Espindola for an 8 scores by referee Howard Foster. Espindola could not come out for the fifth round

Super-featherweight Mohammed Alelel, 4-0, defeated Alexander Morales, 6-14-5 (2), with a six-round decision. Referee Kieran McCann recorded 60-54
