Former IBF World Super Middle Wight champion and current WBA-Tus-century Super Middleweight Champion Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant (23-3, 14 COs) lost Saturday night in the main meeting in the main meeting in the main meeting in the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas.
Plant worked out resendis in the first two rounds. In the third round, Resendiz came back well, with a right to the chin. In fourth, it was nearby with Resendiz taking it.

In the eleventh round, Resendiz opens a cut on the right eyebrow of the plant. In the final seconds, the plant knocked on the chin. In the twelfth and final round, Resendiz looked like he had a lead.

In the co-main event, former IBF junior middleweight champion and WBC World 160-Pond Champion Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 COs) Thomas ‘Cornflake’ Lamanna (39-6-1, 18 COs) stopped after the fifth round, after he recorded three knockouts in a scheduled 10 round.
In the first round, Charlo drew blood from Lamanna’s nose. In the third round, Charlo prevailed and dropped Lamanna for an 8 counts. In the fourth round, Charlo hit Lamanna again for another 8 counts. In the fifth round, another knockout with Lamanna that bled badly out of the nose. The referee called a stop for the fight.
The middleweight Yoenli Hernandez (8-0, 7 food) defeated Kyrone ‘Davis (19-4-1, 6 food) with a unanimous 10 round decision.
In the second round, Hernandez dropped Davis for an 8 score. The third by sixth place Hernandez beat the tough Davis.
In the ninth round, Davis fights back and tries to get away. In the tenth and final round, Davis Hernandez asks: “Hit me, hit me!”
The scores were 100-89, 100-89 and 100-89.
Superbantam weight Carl Martin (26-0, 20 costs) defeated Francisco ‘Rayto’ Pedroza Portlo (19-14-2, 11 COs) by a unanimous decision of the next round.
The scores were 78-73, 78-73 and 79-72. Robert Hoyle was the referee.
Light welterweight Justin Cardona (10-1, 5 COs) won an eight-round decision on Elijah ‘The Bully’ Williams (10-2, 4 COs). The scores were 75-77, 79-72 and 77-74. Mark Nelson was the referee.
The junior middleweight Cristian Cangelosi (11-0, 5 COs) won a six-round decision on the Southpaw Samuel ‘El Macho’ Figueroa (13-3, 6 food). Robert Hoyle was the referee.
Super-middleweight John ‘Candyman’ Easter (9-0, 7 COs) defeated Andres Martinez (5-4, 3 food) with a unanimous six-round decision.
