Ornelas was cut over his right eye and in the sixth case. At the end of the round, the referee and the doctor of the ring looked at the state of Ornelas and decided to stop the match. It was referee Raul Caiz Jr.’s call.
Ornelas’ heart
The tough Mexican native ornelas have been off twice, in rounds two and four. He did not have the doll in his blows to worry Mason, and it left him no chance to turn things around, no matter what he did.

Despite being exceeded and surpassed by the much larger bricklayer, Ornelas showed a lot of heart and fiercely attacked him every time he dropped and landed some good shots. He just didn’t have the power in his bumps to do damage.
The much smaller Ornelas were selected from the Super Featherweight section to be the opponent of Mason in a calculated step of the top ranking in response to the problems their fighter had in November last year against Yohan Vasquez.
Abdullah was dropped twice in the fight, and he probably would have continued to sit down, if not for Vasquez’s knee injury. The choice of poor Puncher Ornelas made sense that the highest rank could not afford to take chances with their prospect after the issues he had against Vasquez.
Defensive defects
Ornelas, 30, landed, but he couldn’t hurt him because he was well chosen by the top ranking from the 130 pound division. As many times as Mason was hit in this battle, he would have had problems if he were with a puncher.
The power and size are there for him, but the chin is of glass. If a fighter can’t shoot at 21, it won’t get better as they get older. If there is anything, it will get worse for Mason, and he will even be decorated by the highest punchers.
Top rank can’t protect him forever. It doesn’t work in the sport. If he is lucky, he can follow the Tyson Fury route by knocking an old champion on his way out of the sport and then taking an easy route for the next seven or eight years as he did and made a gold mine.
Abdullah leaves himself too much with the way he loads on his left hands, especially with his capital letters. Ornelas marked bricklayer with bumps as he threw wide,
