None of them were thrown to the wolves to show how hard life could be in their respective divisions. Ennis gets the same treat, and it’s disappointing. Basically, “boots” career is brought to a standstill, and he is not young at 28 to still be connected to fewer fighters.

‘Lima is a decent test but He is not world class, And this is where the criticism comes in. Ennis has the tools to be a Boogeyman at 154 velocity, power and ring -ik – but he has to face champions, ‘said box Chris Aligeri.
Algieri is right. Uisma, 32, is not quite world class, at least not based on his poor opposition and his defeat by Aaron McKenna in 2023. With Hearn’s money and a promoter as a promoter, he should have found someone better for Ennis to fight in his debut at 154 who would help him prepare at the top of the division. Even if Hearn did not want to match Ennis to the bat, he could have unearthed at least one of these fighters:

- Abass Barou
- Yoenis tellez

It feels like a ‘lasting battle’ for ‘boots’ Ennis, with him that matches Lima. This is probably a short distance from Ennis’s recent battles against Eimantas Stanionis and Karen Chukhadzhian.
