BoMac reunites with Eubank Jr., calls her ‘Killer Instinct’

By Graham Ilford: Coach Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre says he along with Chris Eubank Jr. joined for a second time as they talked about his “killer instinct” ahead of his rematch with Conor Benn on November 15, 2025, on DAZN PPV at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Tottenham, London, England.

Eubank’s Edge Over Benn

Popular trainer ‘BoMac’ McIntyre’s rematch with 36-year-old British middleweight Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 KOs) was announced on September 17, 2025. For ‘BoMac’ comes a rebuild with Eubank Jr. for a second time at the perfect time.

Chris Jr. already beat Benn earlier this year on April 26 with a 12-round unanimous decision with the scores 116-112, 116-112 and 116-112. One has to like Eubank Jr’s chances in the rematch because of these factors:

  1. Experience and pedigree
  2. Size
  3. Punch output

The motivation of $1 million

The 160-lb contender has a guaranteed purse of $10 million for the Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) rematch. Of that money, the coach usually receives 10% to 15%. So, depending on what McIntyre’s percentage is, he could receive between $1 million to $1.5 million for this fight. Not bad for short term mercenary work for ‘BoMac’ for a month and a half of work.

Crawford’s coach on loan

‘BoMac’ trains Terence Crawford, one of Turki Alalshikh’s favorite fighters.’ Still, with the Nebraska native likely to sit out his usual one-year stretch between fights, that leaves the trainer with availability to train other fighters like Eubank Jr., Lester Martinez and Keyshawn Davis.

Eubank Jr. vs. Benn 2 event will be shown on DAZN PPV from 14:00 ET / 23:00 PT and 19:00 GMT.

Main Card on DAZN PPV: $59.99 in the US and £24.99 in the UK

“He’s upstairs, so I jumped on it right away when they said, ‘Chris, he’s got that killer instinct. He knows what it takes to get it done.’ That’s why it’s so easy to train with him because he trains so hard,” said coach Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre. Ring Magazineand talks about why he enjoys working with Chris Eubank Jr. to be before his rematch with Conor Benn on November 15.

Again, one can understand why ‘BoMac’ would want to work with Eubank Jr. Even if he thought he was going to lose the rematch with the 29-year-old Benn, for the money he’s receiving, who wouldn’t want to train him?

“We’re in shape to go 15 rounds. I’m never going to say we’re going to stop him. It’s just like you’re a low-level four-rounder,” ‘BoMac’ said of Eubank Jr., “But at this level you can’t just say, ‘Oh, he’s going to stop him. If the stoppage comes to stop, he’s definitely in shape
