Manny Pacquiao looked good in a training grip on social media. Manny (62-8-8, 39 food) is still rapidly challenging Mario Barrios for his WBC Welterweight title on July 19 in Las Vegas. The WBC has given Pacquiao a #5 -rankings, despite the fact that it has retired since 2021, and since 2019 winless.
Is pacquiao broken?
Some fans question whether Pacquiao gave away his big fortune, and died now. However, it is still believed that he is quite rich, with a massive mansion in Beverly Hills and other houses in Los Angeles and the Philippines.
It would not be a big shock if Pacquiao overcomes Barrios (29-2-1, 18 COs) because he chose the worst of the champions at 147. Mario has been a target for fighters since winning the WBC title. He was smart to wait for the biggest payday, as he would have lost the title long ago if he had some decent welterweight contenders.
“It’s box. If you can allow a 58-year-old Mike Tyson box Jake Paul, then Manny Pacquiao at 46 doesn’t look too bad, right? ‘ said Ricky Hatton Talksport BoxingRespond to Pacquiao returning to challenge Mario Barrios on July 19 for his WBC Welterweight title.
The WBC allows Pacquiao to challenge for a world title. It seems immune to criticism, and it is worrying that a sanction body is willing to arrange retired fighters so high. Fans see it as a sign that the WBC just wants to use Pacquiao’s popularity to get attention for the title.
This move makes the WBC look like a second -class organization. But that will not stop fighters from capturing their titles or their promoters to fish them to the belt.
Undeserved title opportunity
‘Manny comes back to fight for a world title. How does Manny get his world title? He is retired. To go straight into a world title after retiring. How is it allowed? He certainly fell out of the rankings when he retired.
“Suddenly he makes a comeback, and they put him straight in the no. 1 -contender. How could he be placed in the top -10? You have been retired for years. He was back a few years, but we don’t know how he’s going to be like seeing him take some warm -up fights and then coming in. Boxing these days, money is everything. ‘ ‘
