Generally, data suggests that Mallets have an advantage. Sorry, the blade purists. Sometimes science is a tough lady.
What do the data tell us
For average golf player, you are more likely to wear your putt within six feeds (where you really count) with a commodity and you are less likely to suffer the scared three-putt.
You can argue that a change of seven percent in percentage is not much, but let’s be true: we’ve all had those rounds where “if only that blow had fallen.” This seemingly trivial seven percent translates into curses users looking for a place more within six meters in round compared to their blade -winking counterparts. A stroke can be the difference between a better new personal and another story about what left.
The average proximity to the holes in the hearth is actually better with blades. But this advantage is then canceled by blade users that are less likely to hit the second essential stroke from the shortest distance. To determine the best performance tracking deciders, Shot Scope looked to make a percentage within six meters, the average proximity of the vase and the number of three points per round.
