Bill Haney came up today and responds to the comment from the promoter Eddie Hearn about Devin Haney and Bill who are just fighting for money. Hearn said in an interview on YouTube last week that Haney (32-0, 15 COs) lost his love for the sport after his fight against Ryan Garcia and the subsequent fan response.
Hearn’s accusation
Hearn said that Devin’s attempt to set up battles against Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis and Theofimo Lopez was in his mind a proof that he was just focused on getting “The bag” at this stage of his career. He believes these are strategic movements by Haney and Bill, which are behind the two. Nor
OW, with Devin signed to challenge Brian Norman Jr. for his WBO welterweight title on November 22, Hearn says the fight is ‘Dangerous’ For Haney. He does not believe that he will be successful against Norman Jr. Hearn considers this battle another example of Haney and Bill who became reckless in their pursuit of money.
Devin’s father, Bill, posted on X today, returned to Hearn, reminding him that he had never created a fighter who became unwilling, three-section and three continents by the age of 26. Bill comes with the comment with three divisions because Devin has not done so yet. It is impossible.
Haney turned 27 on November 17, 2025, and his fight against WBO swelling champion Brian Norman Jr. Is on November 22. If Devin wins, he will be a world champion of three divisions, but he did not do so at the age of 26, as Bill predicts on social media today.
Bill’s social media boast
In 38 years since he started in Snooker, Eddie & Barry Hearn never made a Devin Haney, undisputed, 3rd division, 3rd continent against 26.

The unadjusted accusation
Interestingly, Bill failed to fight Hearn’s remark about Devin at this stage of his career only for money. It must have been the priority for Bill to deny that he and Devin are now being driven by money. It would have played better with the fans and the media.
“When he started, he was all he wanted to do, chasing greatness. I don’t think he’s anymore. I think now, a big part of Devin is just fighting for the money, ‘Eddie Hearn said Australian box central About Devin Haney.
‘Bill and Devin, they don’t watch strategically. They are looking for the suitcase. They are like ‘Where can we earn our $ 5-6-7 million? “That’s why they said that they (Jaron) would fight” Boots “at 147,” We will fight theofimo (Lopez), “Hearn says.
