Nakisa Bidarian of MVP confirmed to the media that the Jake Paul against Gervonta Davis fight will be an exhibition match with a weight of 195 pounds for their 14th collision in the Kaseya Center in Miami. Their battle will be streamed on Netflix.
Bidarian said Paul needs the great advantage because he is much less experienced than Tank Davis, who has been seven since he has been seven. Jake is only in the sport for five years. He learns quickly as he can, but he is still far behind Davis (30-0-1, 28 COs).

Experienced gap requires size
The battle will have three judges to determine a winner, but the results will not rely on the official records. The rounds are three minutes with 12 grams of gloves worn rather than 10 grams.
Tank’s benefit of two decades
“It’s comical if people say ‘tank is too small. “Tank is one of the best fighters in the world that has been doing this since the age of seven,” Nakisa Badarian from MVP told the media About the Jake Paul against Gerrvonta Davis fight.
Bidarian says the original target for Jake Paul to fight was Canelo Alvarez, but the fight could not take place. So, the next was Gervonta Davis. He mentions that the fight against Anthony Joshua would never take place this year. Bidarian says they have an agreement to fight Joshua in 2026.
“This is the second nature for him to be in a goat ring. Jake is in the sport for five years, and he has learned on the track. So we need the great advantage to have a chance there,” Bidarian said.
It is understandable why Paul would need a great advantage because of the 20+ year experience that Tank Davis has in boxing.
The bottom map has been piled up
Bidarian mentions that the bottom map will be announced tomorrow. He says there will be five fights and four of them will be world title fights. It will not be like the Canelo Alvarez against Terence Crawford card on September 13, filled with prospects rather than contenders.
