Edgar Berlanga will return next month against unbeaten Jonathan Gonzalez Organ in the Super Middleweight fight on a displayed performance on the match on March 15 at Dazn in the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. It is the confidence booster that recently beaten Berlanga (22-1, 17 COs) that was rumored that he was rumored.
Berlanga was demoted on the middleweight Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams against Patrice Volny Card. This is a big fall for Edgar, which goes from lead to main support in the recently clever ammunition Williams card.
The return
The 35-year-old Puerto Rican native Gonzalez Organ returned in 2024 after being out of the ring since 2014 and beat Edward Ulloa Diaz and Jose Saint-Hilaire Gil (5-23). As you can see, Gonzalez Organ did not do much to earn a fight against Berlanga. Being inactive for a decade and fighting a few scabs is all it takes to pick out.
He won two fights against lesser opposition last year before being selected as the opponent of Berlanga. What happened when Berlanga fought the travel man Gabriel Rosado in Puerto Rico is unclear, but perhaps Gabe’s 17 losses that Dazn scared.
Gonzalez Orthiz is the opponent who gives 27-year-old Berlanga the chance to showcase his skills. Edgar said on X that he was going to fight one of the big names of his hit list after his March 15 match.

Berlanga lost last year on September 14 on September 14 against the United Super Middleweight Champion Canelo Alvarez in a unilateral 12-round decision in Las Vegas.
