Conor Benn is not worried that the IBF removes him from their top -15 ranking at 154 today. His goal is to follow the WBC Welterweight Champion, Mario Barrios, after re -broadcasting with Chris Eubank Jr. Next month in their middleweight attack on November 15 in London.
Benn (23-1, 14 CO’s) has not fought against the middleweight within 20 months since his victory over Peter Dobson on February 3, 2024.

Conor, 29, is on the WBC #4 WBC on Welterweight, and he wants to return to the Division to challenge Barrios (29-2-2, 18 COs) after he is Eubank Jr. next month. Barrios is seen by many box fans as the worst link at 147.
It would be a bad public relations of Benn to target Barrios for his WBC belt, rather than the winner of the 22nd battle between Devin Haney and WBO swelling champion Brian Norman Jr.
If he was the title of Barrios to Barrios’s title, Benn would make a champion at Welterweight, and he could milk the belt well against different contenders than his choice. He was also able to set up unification fights against one of these welterweight champions:
- Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero – WBA
- Lewis Crocker – IBF
- Brian Norman Jr. – WBO
“His belt got my name on it. The WBC world title is the belt I want. I will go to America and beat the champion,” Conor Benn told Ring Magazine about his intention to return to the Welterweight division to challenge the WBC champion, Mario Barrios, after his Rematch with Eubank Jr.
Eubank jr. Against Benn 2 will be head on November 15 on dazn PPV at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Tottenham, London, England. Benn gets another chance to against Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 COs), after losing a unanimous 12-round decision earlier this year on April 26.
The rematch is basically just a battle on the business level, as Eubank Jr. Benn beat in April in April in April and won 116-112, 116-112 and 116-112 with the scores. Benn looked like he was ready to hit the later rounds. He took a lot of punishment in the fight.
Can Benn Eubank deal with again?
It would be a good idea for Benn’s Corner to throw in the towel or pull him out if he again through eubank jr. Start working because he doesn’t have to stay there and take an unnecessary beat. There is too large gorge in natural size and experience between him and Eubank Jr.
