Belinda Bencic Is Wimbledon’s last mother standing.
The Swiss 28-year-old tied her best Grand Slam score, and pushed to her first quarter-final Wimbledon on Monday with a 7-6 (4) 6-4 victory over Ekaterina Alexandrova.
Bencic was removed 15 months from the birth of her baby Bella. She is the last ninth remaining mother to start the main draw this year in Wimbledon.

Bencic is in her fourth career Grand Slam Quarterfinal – her first as a mother, and her first since 2021.

Only three mothers have won great titles in the history of the open era – Margaret Court, Evonne Goolagong and Kim Clijsters.
It was a difficult victory to close. After falling to Alexandrova and won only three games in Bad Homburg, Bencic was ready at home, but Russia hit a winner to save five points of match and extend the match.
Eassed, Swiss broke down in the next match, turning her sixth point of the match and leaving her emotions bathing on her.

Bencic, Wimbledon 2013 girls champion, will face Mirra Andreeva or Emma Navarro in Wimbledon.
