David Banavidez flies on a small ray today to be after the invitation of Turki Alalshikh to attend Saturday’s re -broadcast between Artur Betterbiev and Dmitri Biblical in their undisputed light heavyweight collision in Riyadh. Banavidez can fight the winner of the competition.
Fans are eager to see Benavidez (30-0, 24 COs) the next opponent for the Betterbiev-bivvolol 2 winner, because he has proven himself as deserving after his victory over the WBA ‘ordinary’ 175-pound champion David Morrell in their exciting competition earlier this month on February 1st.

Turki will decide if Benavidez is next. If Bsvol overcame Betterbiev on Saturday, he reportsly wants an immediate trilogy match. People want to see new blood get a chance at the winner rather than a third straight battle between the two.
Benavidez took many heavy shots of the Cuban Morrell, which gave his face the appearance of a much older person. After the fight he looked like he was Wear a Halloween mask. Those hard bumps from Morrell did a number on Benavidez’s face.
If he fights against Betterbiev, he can’t allow him to get similar hard blows without being beaten. Morrell dropped Banavidez in the 11th round and knocked the filling out of him when the competition finished in the 12th.
Former coach Abel Sanchez does not believe that Benavidez is ready for Biblical or Betterbiev. He feels that these two fighters are “salted” for him at 175.
‘I honestly think these two guys (betterbiev and Biblical) are head and shoulders above the two guys (David Benavidez and David Morrell). BIVOL AND BETTERBIV is natural 175-pound. Biblical is a much more technically healthy fighter than benavidez, hitting a little harder than benavidez, and is a little stronger than benavidez. Morrell has a little way to go, ”said former coach Abel Sanchez Fight Hub TV.
Benavidez deserves a chance to try to beat at least Saturday night’s Rematch winner between Artur Betterbiev and Bivolol. It would be much more exciting that Benavidez is fighting one of the guys. He is nice to look at because he braai and is willing to take shots to give one.
‘The monster, the right monster, better biev, when he’s busy. He is now coming a little later age. When he is busy with a high punch production, he easily beats them because of his power and strength. What will make him a disadvantage is that he will not be as easy as he used to be, because he gets older, and maybe he preserves a little more.
“In the Biblical battle, I thought he was keeping a little too much (last October). Maybe he won’t be in this one (Saturday). We will see a better biblical and better biev in this battle, but I don’t think Benavidez or Morrell are ready for the two. He couldn’t hurt Morrell. How is he going to hurt these two guys (betterbiev and Biblical)? The other guys are a little more experienced and at 175 on their world.
“He (benavidez) wouldn’t do what he did to Morrell,” Sanchez said.
