Former India captain Virat Kohli showed his aggression on the field after the dismissal of Australia opener Usman Khawaja on Day 1 of the pink ball Test match. Virat Kohli was seen celebrating aggressively after the wicket of Usman Khawaja at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide on Friday, December 6.

Indian national cricket team batted first and scored 180 runs in 114.1 overs. Australia’s pacer took all the wickets to bundle them out on the green. Mitchell Starc was Australia’s chief destroyer after a disappointing outing in the last game. Starc took six wickets for 48 runs in 14.1 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah secured the first wicket for India in the last ball of the 11th over. Bumrah cuts the delivery short for a while. Usman Khawaja tried to defend the ball but the ball took an outside edge and flew to the right of Rohit Sharma who caught it with both hands. Virat Kohli had a wild celebration after the wicket and he was also loudly insulted by saying beh*****d.

Virat Kohli had a disappointing performance with the bat in the first innings of the ongoing match. The right-handed batsman managed to score 7 runs off 8 balls before being dismissed by Mitchell Starc.

It should be noted that he came into the match with a brilliant century in the second innings of the Perth Test in which India secured a 295-run victory under the captaincy of Jasprit Bumrah.

Mitchell Starc dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal early but KL Rahul and Shubman Gill steadied the innings with a 69-run partnership. After their stand, India had a dramatic collapse and were all out for 180.

Nitish Kumar Reddy returned a quick-fire 42 off 54 balls, including three fours and three sixes. He added a crucial partnership of 35 runs with Jasprit Bumrah for the ninth stand. Pat Cummins and Starc folded the tail to conclude the innings.
