Perth Scorchers are closer to a win over Melbourne Stars
Opting to bat first, the Stars struggled against a disciplined Scorchers bowling attack. Richardson was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets for just 19 runs. However, Cooper Connolly has anchored the innings with 51 off 42 balls so far with support from the captain Ashton Turner‘s fixed knock 16 invincible. Despite a lively bowling effort Adam Milne and Peter SiddleA strong middle-order performance by the Scorchers leaves them needing just 58 runs from 51 balls with seven wickets in hand.
