Forget Jake against Tank – the bottom map does the heavy lifting!
Jake Paul vs. Gervonta “Tank” Davis is technically the most important event in Miami on November 14. Big. Clap for the circus. Meanwhile, the bottom map is absolutely loaded with world champions, history and real box. You know – the thing this sport is supposed to be about.
Russell vs. Hiraoka – a real world title fight
Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 food) defends his WBA Super Lightweight title against Andy Hiraoka (24-0, 19 COs). Two legitimate Southpaws with absurd knockout prices that met in a dangerous battle.
Russell is the youngest of the fighter Russell dynasty, and unlike a certain YouTube star, he did not come here by screaming at podcasts. Olympic background, relentless pressure and a family name built on real championships. His only loss was a split decision, and otherwise? He hit people in pieces.
Hiraoka is unbeaten and Japan’s number 1 at 140 pounds. He is six feet long, hits like a truck and has been flat for a decade. When he pulls it out, he becomes the latest World Champion of Japan.
Baumgardner vs. Beaudoin – 12 × 3 and a middle finger to the WBC
Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (16-1, 7 food) defends her WBA, WBO and IBF Super Featherweight belts against Leila Beaudoin (13-1, 2 food). But here’s the Kicker: They fight for 12 three minutes of the same as men. Baumgardner Straight-up has evacuated her WBC title because the sanction body still thinks that women should get stuck on 10 × 2 as in 1995.
If so, while Jake and Tank argue about pay-per-seeing numbers, Baumgardner is here to rewrite the rules of women’s box and put her legacy on the right path. Beaudoin, of course, swears that she is about to fall to the champion. Cute. Let’s see how long that confidence lasts when Alycia throws heat in round ten, eleven and twelve.
Scotney vs. Flores – Britain’s latest undisputed bid
Ellie Scotney (11-0) is 27 years old and is about to become the youngest British fighter who will ever look for undisputed. Male or female. She is already united, already ruined champions, and now she gets WBA Titlist Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 COs) to enter into the agreement.
Scotney has climbed through the belt since 2020.
Valle vs. Bustillos – Champions that don’t need
Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 costs), one of the pound-for-pound best, defends her WBC straw-weight belt against unbeaten Yadira Bustillos (11-1, 2 food). Valle fought over three divisions, kept several belts, demanded equal payment and still has to share a stage with Jake Paul shouting ‘legacy in a camera.
Bustillos are hungry, unbeaten and ready to ruin the party. At 105 pounds, these two will throw more strokes in three rounds than Jake Paul will have in a whole fight. But yes, keep pretending to be the one who saves boxing.
Griffin vs. Francis – even the bottom map has bite
Avious Griffin (17-1, 16 COs) is a welterweight wreckage with a co-rate of 94% and a life story that would break most people. Across him is Cesar Francis (14-2, 9 COs), a difficult Panamese who believe he is ready for a title shot in the next year. These guys throw down the forerunners as if it’s a reflection.
Meanwhile, the ‘main event’ is likely to be thirty minutes of Jake Paul positioning for Tiktok before the first punch even lands.
The bottom map is the most important event. The most important event is the bottom map. Find it out.
