WBA, WBO, IBF-Super-Wearweight World Champion Alycia “The Bomb”, Baumgardner, will defend her titles against Canadian boxer Leila Beaudoin (13-1, 2 COs) on Friday, November 14, on Friday 14 November.
Instead of two-minute conventional 10-rounds, this female united world title between Baumgardner and Beaudoin is scheduled for 12 rounds of three minutes. The action will take place in the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and it will be broadcast on Netflix.
In February 2023, the then United WBC, WBA, WBO belt holder Alycia Baumgardner defeated the top contender Elhem Mekhaled via unanimous decision. With the win, Baumgardner won the vacant WBA band, making her the undisputed Super-Featherweight World Champion.
Baumgardner would have three successful title defense. Due to the fact that the WBC does not allow women to fight 12 three-minute rounds, Baumgardner decided to vacate her title. Instead of being a match for undisputed, the Baumgardner vs Beaudoin Clash is a united world title match.
The challenger, Leila Beaudoin, was a downhill skier who recorded boxing as part of her heart training. Over time, Beaudoin stuck to lovely science, and consequently she decided to switch sports.
Leila Beaudoin made her pro -box debut in October 2019 when she defeated Tereza Dvorakova with unanimous decision. Beaudoin would continue to win her next eight battles.
Beaudoin’s unabated record was taken in May 2023, when Elizabeth Chavez Espinoza defeated her with unanimous decision. Eight months later, Leila Beaudoin avenged her first and only career loss when she surpassed Espinoza in the Rematch.

is about to fight against Alycia Baumgardner and possibly fulfill the dream of becoming a world champion. Baumgardner and Beaudoin have traveled in different directions, but their roads will cross on November 14.
Baumgardner is the proven long -time champion, and Beaudoin is somewhat of an unknown. However, the champion and the challenger have a common opponent.
As said before, in February 2023 Alycia Baumgardner defeated Elhem Mekhaled with unanimous decision. Two years later, Leila Beaudoin Mekhaled dropped twice in the sixth round. Late in sixth place, Beaudoin continued to land heavy shots, while the referee continued to step in and stop the competition.
On November 14, emerging contender Leila Beaudoin Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (16-1, 7 COs) will challenge the same rules as the men’s world title. Baumgardner is committed to the men’s format as she continues with the struggle for equality.
During an interview with ESPN, Baumgardner said: “Like Amanda Serrano and many other big champions in front of me, I believe women should have the choice to compete under the same rules as men, 12 rounds, three minutes per round.”
