Barcelona will return to Camp Nou in February 2025, a councilor has confirmed.
The La Liga leaders left Camp Nou at the end of the 2022/23 season and moved to a temporary base at the LluÃs Companys Olympic Stadium while their beloved home underwent a much-needed renovation.
They were hoping to return before the end of 2024 though confirmed earlier this season who could not play at Camp Nou until 2025.
Offering a more specific timeframe, council member David Escude confirmed that the plan is for Barcelona return to Camp Nou in February.
“The date given by vice-president Elena Fort in the last Assembly, which is February, is the one we also have,” he said. RAC1. “There is no change.
“It is very smart on the part of the club to secure a few more dates, since we have already seen that it has rained and there may be some unforeseen circumstances, but the information we have is from February.”
Escude revealed his latest conversation with the club came on Monday as everyone involved works to ensure a seamless transition back to Camp Nou, which is expected to operate at a reduced capacity until the end of the season.
