Masters 2026 preview
We finally made it. The major season begins this week with the Masters, and the best players in the world are at Augusta National, preparing to compete for the green jacket in front of millions of golf fans.
Rory McIlroy comes into the week as the defending champion, having won his first Masters title last year in dramatic fashion. His Masters Champions Dinner planned will set a high for the week. But once that’s over and Wednesday’s Masters Par 3 Championship is over, McIlroy’s attention will turn to defending his title.
or field of 90 other elite competitors will do everything they can to stop McIlroy from grabbing a second consecutive green jacket and sixth major title. That includes the two-time champion and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler2023 winners Jon Rahm and two-time grand champion Bryson DeChambeau.
Scheffler, Rahm, and DeChambeau are all ranked above McIlroy in early Masters odds.
