Turki Alalshikh has a preliminary plan for David Banavidez and Devin Haney to share a map in February 2026, and both won in their respective battles at the 22 November event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

WBC Light Heavyweight Champion benavidez (30-0, 24 COs) should be good to go for the February 2026 event, as he has a title defense on November 22 to get rid of Anthony Yarde. ‘The Mexican Monster’ Benavidez is very favored to defeat Yarde (27-3, 24 COs).
The one who can have trouble is Haney (32-0, 16 COs), because he knocked out artist Brian Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 COs) face for his WBO Welterweight title on November 22, at the ANB Arena on Dazn PPV. Norman jr. Is seen by many as the most difficult puncher in the 147 pound division and has the power that Haney has never seen in his career.

Turki did not mention what is his Plan b Option is if Haney is evaporate by one of Norman’s shots that hit Ground Zero on November 22. It would not be the end of the world if Haney was not by the Brian Jr. -Stry does not come. If Turki Banavidez can match one of the big names at 175, it will not be a great loss not to have Devin as part of the event.

Dazn and Ring magazine Both reports on the ambitious plans of Turki Alalshikh to make Benavidez and Haney share the map next February.
Again, as far as Haney goes, it’s very ominous. To be safe, Turki would be better to name Norman’s name, rather than Haney’s to share the map with benavidez. In this way, there is less chance that the fans are abandoned.
Canelo’s Operation Open Riyadh Spotlight
Initially, Canelo Alvarez was planned to fight in February 2026 as part of his four-game contract with the Riyadh season. However, his elbow operation made it impossible for him to fight it soon. As such, Turki Banavidez and Haney want to pack together in a one-two punch, just as he does with the November 22 Riyadh season meeting to attract fans.
