Light welterweight contender Adam Azim vs. Kurt Scoby is at the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Added Conor Benn 2 event on November 15th on DAZN PPV at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Tottenham in London.
DAZN PPV price: $59.99 for American fans and £24.99 for British fans.
Adding this fight to the card works for British fans, who are high on Azim, but does nothing for American fans. Many of them do not rate Azim.
Scoby (18-1, 16 KOs) should provide a test to show if Azim has any future in the 140-lb division. The 23-year-old Azim (13-0, 10 KOs) is a fringe contender who has yet to get his feet wet against world-level opposition. It’s still too early to tell if he’ll rise above British level, given how stacked the 140-lb division is at the moment.
November 15 Undercard
- Jack Catterall vs Ekow Essuman
- Adam Azim vs Kurt Scoby
- Richard Riakporhe vs. Tommy Welch
- Sam Gilley vs Ishmael Davis
- Mikie Tallon vs. Pheasant Shahid
The Ring revealed today that an agreement has been reached for Azim and Scoby to join the November 15th undercard of Eubank Jr. vs. Benn 2 to be added. Fans on social media have been positive about the addition so far.
To generate more interest from fans, adding the Azim-Scoby fight to the undercard might not be enough. Neither of those fighters are considered by fans to be a future world champion.
They won’t let the fence-sitters order this event on PPV, as they already have the headliner between Eubank Jr. and considered Conor Benn a money grab. Ideally, the undercard needs two to three solid fights that appeal to both British and American fans—Azim vs. Scoby.
The addition of Azim vs. Scoby to the Eubank Jr.-Benn 2 event gives the strong impression of desperation by the organizers. There is a lack of fan interest in the second fight between Eubank Jr. (35-3, 24 KOs) and Benn (24-1, 14 KOs), as their fight earlier this year on April 26, 2025 had a decisive finish. Eubank Jr. won by a 12-round unanimous decision. It was a poorly thought out idea to have a second fight between them without facing both other top level fighters in between.
In general, fans on social media consider the Eubank Jr. vs. Benn 2 rematch as a “meaningless commercial stunt” to further line their pockets with more millions. The two career underachievers already made massive money last April in a fight that proved nothing but that they are nowhere near as talented as their famous fathers.
