India embark on a white-ball one-leg tour of Australia starting with the three-match ODI series in Perth on October 19. The 50 Overs rubber will be followed by a five match t20i series in early November.
Shubman Gill will usher in a new era for Indian cricket for the first time in Odisha, giving Legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma a long-awaited comeback after a long layoff. For Australia, Mitchell Marsh leads a squad in transition, aiming to bounce back from a string of bilateral losses. India’s squad, the world’s No. 1 ODI side, went into the final eight Odis with confidence and a fresh Champions Trophy victory.
After the ODIS, the T20I series is on October 29, with Suryakumar Yadav captaining India. While the Asia Cup stars Abhishek Sharma and Tilak varma Hardik Pandya unavailable due to injury. Australia, meanwhile, will be riding high on confidence behind New Zealand under New Zealand’s captaincy.
