Legendary Australia National Cricket Team batting Matthew Hayden He has shared important tips that can help the Indian National Cricket Team win the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
The third test between the Indian National Cricket Team and the Australian National Cricket Team will be played from December 14 at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba.

India must rely on staying in the fourth and fifth stump line – Matthew Hayden
Speaking to Star Sports, Hayden suggested the visiting team’s pacer bowlers to target the fourth and fifth stump lines and use the bounce available on the surface to make the Aussie batsmen hell.
“India, when they get a chance to bowl, they need to rely a little bit more on the fourth, fifth stump line. And most importantly, they need to use their bounce,” Hayden said.
He added that the Brisbane Test is played with a normal red ball, unlike the Adelaide Test where the pink ball is used and the Aussies dominate, which will put the Indian and Aussie pacers at par.
“It’s a key arsenal as part of the fast bowling unit in Brisbane. The red ball will certainly be more familiar in terms of Test match cricket. Australia have a run with the pink ball, they’ve won a lot with it.”

The batting unit of the Indian National Cricket Team struggles a lot in Test cricket and Hayden is aware of that. Hayden urged the visiting team to raise their batting and bat all day to put at least 350 runs on the board.
“India have to bat better, they have to bat for time. They have to play test match cricket one day. Under a day is unacceptable. It should be in that 350 zone.”
It should be noted that in the first match of the Sarhad-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 held in Perth, the visitors challenged 150. They batted well in the second innings of the same match as they scored 487/6d.
However, in the next match in Adelaide, the struggling sides scored 180 and 175 against the pink ball.

The previous Test match between the Indian National Cricket Team and the Australian National Cricket Team at the Gabba in Brisbane was played during the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
