Has been a burnt start until 2025 to Happy Ager-Aliassime. Canadian runs the ATP tour in Victory (16) and titles (2), and after today’s victory over Quentin Hays in Dubai he is the only player to reach three finals in the ATP tour in 2025.
Until 21 in the standings, the former world no.6 says he hopes to continue to grow, perhaps high enough to return to Top-10 and play the finals of the ATP at the end of the season.
“I’m trying as much as I can,” he said. “But you have to go day by day, week to week. I can’t dance so fast. I’ve won a lot this year already. You don’t win every week, perhaps the sinner last year, but he too.
“Gradually I hope this year, by the end of this year, I’m closing in the Top 10, hopefully Torino too. This would be a great year.”

The 24-year-old will offer the title on Saturday against Stefano Tsitas in Dubai. He says that going out in a 16-4 record and scoring so many impressive victories is to work miracles for his faith. This belief, he says, is what he needs to achieve his ultimate goal.
“I feel like when you start being stable in other tours, dominating players in other tours, you come to Grand Slam with another belief,” he said. “I come to everything greatly feeling like I want to win, believing that I can win. But it’s different when you have won a lot on the ATP tour. This is the type of moment I am trying to build and the kind of trust. If I do so, I hope in the following years I will get my opportunity to set up one of those big trophies.”
Auner-aliassime has a large Slami semifinal in his name. He reached the last four in the US Open in 2021. He is 34-23 lives in Major, with another quarter-final, coming to Australian Open 2022.
