During this interview I came to make some research in # Tokyo2025. I was a little absent from Aries Mertit and David Oliver, and this interview is a capsule of time and the amazing heritage of Sprint obstacles. Aries Merit and David Oliver were two of the two events, and the most common and respected athletes in the sport in their era.
I was lucky to visit the Paris Diamond League, then called #Arvaparis a few years, and the meeting markers were some of my favorites. This is one of the rbr archives eleven years ago.

One of the most difficult events in Athletics is 110 meters.
High obstacles, as some calls are a combination of scringing skills and obstacles.
As Renaldo Nehemiah (the first person in obstacles, 8 grams), a man who has been ten years and about five months, wanted to “110 m”.

Two of the best veterans of 110 meters of obstacles are Aries Mary and David Oliver. We had the opportunity to interview both Aries and David.
Aries Merritt is the 2012 Olympic champion and Wroper Holder in the barriers of 110m. David Oliver holder the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, the gold medalist of the 2013 World Cup and former American record holder.
Can you hear the interview? It’s interesting. Listen to their laughs and their chairs, but they also mention their observation skills. Notice how they respect each other.

I asked Aries Merit to describe the best qualities of David Oliver with 110 meters of obstacles. Merent talked about how strong David is in the last half of the race. Then I asked David Oliver about the same question about Aries Meri and David that David said that the foot of Kho’s trace is unique to obstacles.
David Oliver also said that every time he competes, he should be a world-class performer and ready to compete, or he should not go out there.
It is the nature of elite athletes. And 110 meters of brushes who compete in the most competitive event of men’s schedule, respect is most of the game.
