According to recent reports, Aston Villa is more likely to sign Marco Asensio than Marcus Rashford this summer.
Villa did some excellent January business to bring Asensio and Rashford on January, with the first one joined to Paris Saint-Germain and the second to join Manchester United until the end of the season.
According to Give Me Sport, Villa seems to be focusing on signing Asensio permanently as his priority, with Rashford maybe return to Old Trafford.
Remains to see if this is a final decision of the club yet but this news comes Rashford has also been related to other clubs like Tottenham before summer.
What is the future for Marcus Rashford after impressive Aston Villa loan?
Rashford has done well during his time at Villa Park, and maybe it is a little surprising that Una Emery and Co. It may not be especially desperate to keep it permanently.
International England was a Man UTD star performer for many years and it seems that a change of scene has made the world of good.
However, maybe Villa has other plans and would prefer to build around Asensio in the long term.
Rashford seems to be still a good choice For clubs like Spurs, so the United may at least be glad to have been able to put the 27 -year -old in the proverbial showcase in recent months.
Even if Villa does not end up keeping Rashford, at least United and Rashford can look back this spell and see that it was not a waste.
