Aston Villa could include Emi Buendia as part of a swap deal for Juventus youngster Kenan Yildiz.
That’s the view of former club scout Bryan King, who believes Villa may need to get creative to bring down Juve’s asking price.
Aston Villa are eyeing a surprise transfer for the Real Madrid ace who has impressed this season
As revealed Caught offsideVilla are one of a number of clubs who have a strong interest in Yildiz, along with Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
However, it is understood Juventus could demand up to £66m (€80m) for the 19-year-old, who already has 17 caps for Turkey to his name.
Despite his international success, Yildiz remains relatively unproven at club level, with the former Bayern Munich talent playing just 54 times for Juve so far, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
However, the winger, who can also play in the middle, is generating a lot of interest across Europe and Juventus will have to work hard to keep him.
Kenan Yildiz: Can Villa convince Juventus to sell?
While Aston Villa are at a disadvantage in competing for Yildiz, they would offer a more direct route to regular senior football.
But if they are to land the youngster, they may have to use player swaps as an extra incentive for Juventus, who are demanding an astronomical fee.
“Maybe a swap deal could be on the cards,” said King, who has also worked for Tottenham Hotspur and Everton. Villa News.
“BuendÃa has been linked with a move away from the club, maybe they will offer him to Juventus? This could be something. However, Juventus want £66m for the player.
“You can forget that. He’s played a few games at a high level, not a few seasons. So he hasn’t done enough to generate a £66m payment.
