The 20-year-old will be looking to establish himself as a regular starter for the club now. According to Football Insider, Aston Villa have now changed their mind about the player and are unwilling to sell him any further. They believe he could become a key player for the club.

Jhon Duran could be a star for Aston Villa
Duran is highly rated throughout Europe and has a bright future. The Colombian could become one of the best strikers in the league with the right guidance. Aston Villa have been too reliant on Ollie Watkins for goals and they need more support in attack.
The Colombian seems the ideal choice. If he can fulfill his potential with the West Midlands club, he could end up saving the club millions in the transfer market.
The striker initially struggled to adapt to Unai Emery’s methods at the English club, but it seems he is now getting used to his surroundings. It remains to be seen if he can convince the Spanish coach to give him a long run at fullback.
Aston Villa are competing in the UEFA Champions League and need a deeper and more quality squad. Someone like Duran could prove to be a useful option for them during the rotation and injuries.
