In this week’s Golf’s episode, Texas -based automobile seller, Fin Ewing explains how he was linked to Golf.

Fin ewing may not be a name you are immediately acquainted with, but in Texas, it is a synonymous name of golf.
Summero summer, when thousands of juniors remove it in tours organized by Northern Texas PGA, they compete in a tour sponsored by Ewing company. And while that may not seem significant at first, just know that the new Ewing Automotive NTPGA Junior tour is where some of the best texans in PGA Tour – Think Scottie Scheffler AND Jordan Spieth – got their beginnings.
“What you did with North (Ern) Texas PGA, sponsoring that new golf tour, has been just extraordinary,” Knostl Said Golf’s Subpar in the episode of this week. “You’ve done more for the game than almost anyone I know.”
Ewing contributions to the game in his native state are as significant that he was involved in the 2019 Golf Fame Hall in 2019.
How is it that Ewing was so involved in the new Golf scene in Texas? In this week’s episode of Subpar, he took a few minutes to explain.
“Randy (Smith) called me one day,” Ewing said. “He said,” Carl (Westcott) is no longer (sponsor) section of North Texas. I said, “This is a shame. That’s too bad.” He goes, ‘No is not … you will do it.’ “
The next day, Smith organized a meeting with Ewing and the main stakes of interest from Northern PGA. And now, 20 years later, the partnership between Ewing and NTPGA is still going strong.
“It’s been for the most delightful things,” Ewing said.
