Today Sabalenka educated her skeptical teachers.

Remembering the young coaches who questioned her mental strength, Sabalenka told them skeptics: You know nothing.
“I’ve always been quite motivated and they didn’t have to push me,” Sabalenka said about raising it in the ranks. “But I’ve heard a lot (coaches) saying I’m not smart enough, that I’m stupid, and I will never do it, and I have nothing to do it on top.
“I think I want to send a quick message to them to quit their job.
“Because honestly, I think they don’t know anything and they better left just to save the other players.”
Asked how she reacted to critical coaches by claiming she was too smart to be a winner at the WTA tour, Sabalenka said she laughed on their face.
“I was just laughing and saying: We’ll see,” Sabalenka said.

A sharp sabalenk has only submitted 10 games to three tournaments this week.
Following her overwhelming conquest of Kamilla Rakhimova 6-1, 6-0 in her opening Roland Garros, Sabalenka shared her parents were never pushed for her career pursuit. However, Belarus said she saw Eastern European coaches asking to burn new players.
“I definitely say that the Eastern European School is very difficult. I think that’s why anyone who survives that school is really harsh,” Sabalenka said after the first round.
On the one hand, Sabalenka said she survived her small training made her a tougher competitor, but on the other hand she saw some other broken players from “brutal” coaches making punitive requests.
“I have to say that maybe because of the environment and in the history of European countries, we are much tougher,” Sabalenka told the media in Paris. “Whoever went through the difficult things, they, both mentally and physically, are much stronger than maybe, not like the rest of the world, but most girls in the tournament …
“I definitely think that the environment we have in our countries, which is very harsh and coaches are very brutal, you know, there is nothing nice about the way they, how, work with their players, they are quite rude. I think that is why our mentality is much stronger, but also, at the same time, they broke so many.
“I think in Europe and states, the environment is much healthier.”
