Aryna Sabalenka, citing fatigue, withdraws from Montreal

Sabalenka It will take a little longer before starting its North American difficult court season. The American announced that she would spend the National Bank open to Montreal, citing fatigue.

It joins Paula Badosa (Injury) on the borders, which means that Caty Mcnally and Moyuka Uchijima will enter the main draw.

“I am looking forward to starting the North America’s difficult court, but to give myself the best opportunity for success this season, I have decided it is in my best interest in passing Montreal,” read a statement from Sabalenka.

Two players were withdrawn from the National Bank of 2025: Aryna Sabalenka, due to fatigue, and Paula Badosa, due to an injury.

Rangut Sabalenka recently lost in the semifinals in Wimbledon, falling into Amanda Animova, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. The big champion three times is 47-9 a season with three titles, but has still won a major.

The National Open Bank will move on to a 12-day tour this year, taking place from July 25 to August 6, with the main draw game that begins on 27.
