Artur Betterbiev’s reign ends as Dmitri Bivol claims that light heavyweight titles

In the main event, IBF World, IBO World, WBA Super World, WBC World, WBO World Light Heavy Heavy Champion Artur Bererbiev, 21-1 (20), lost a majority decision to former champion Dmitrii Biblical, 24-1 (12) by a unanimous decision of 12 round last Saturday night at the Riyadh venue, Saudi Arabia.

In the first two rounds, Biblical stitch used an effective stitch to counteract the aggressive, hard -hit. From the third to sixth place, better Biev Biblt exceeded. Dmitri then came back and took rounds seven through the ninth round.

In the tenth round, Betterviev may have leveled the score until Bilyol landed a flurry of bumps at the end of the round and possibly steal it. In the eleventh round, Betterbiev started strong, but Biblical returned in the last minute. In the twelfth and final round, Bivoles led and moved well until Betterbiev opened a cut on Biblical left eyebrow with a minute left.

The scores were 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112.

WBO-TUs-Time Hearing Champion Joseph Parker, 36-3 (24), stopped NABF and WBO Int’l champion Martin Bakole, 21-2 (16), at 2:17 of the second round of a scheduled 12 rounds .

In the first round, it usually felt each other out until the final seconds, when Bakole Parker shook a right to the chin. In the second round, Parker ended up a loud right on the chin and dropped Bakole back and forth. He couldn’t beat referee Steve Gray’s score and end the battle.

WBC World Light Champion Southpaw Shakur Stevenson, 23-0 (11), stopped Josh Padley, 15-1 (4), to nine rounds of a scheduled 12 rounds.

In the first six rounds, Stevenson Padley chose his clap apart. In the ninth round, Stevenson Padley dropped a body shot for an 8 scores by referee Victor Loughlin. Stevenson dropped Padley twice before the fight was finally stopped.

WBC World Middle Champion Carlos ‘Bronco’ Adames, 24-1-1 (18), ended in a split decision with Commonwealth, EBU, WBC Silver Champion Hamzah ‘Mohammed’ Sheeraz, 21-0-1 (17) over 12 over 12 rounds.

In the first four rounds, Adames Pressed Sheeraz and expanded him as Sheeraz opposed him and moved around the ring.

In the sixth through the tenth rounds, Sheeraz returned well enough to keep its own. Adames slowly walk to his corner to the ninth round, tired of chasing Sheeraz.

In the eleventh and twelfth rounds it went back and forth that won the round.

WBC Interim World Super Welterweight Champion, Vergil Ortiz, Jr., 23-0 (21), defeated former WBA World Super Welterweight Champion Israil ‘The Dream’ Madrimov, 10-2-1 (7) over 12 rounds.

In the first six rounds, Madrimov Ortiz opposed well enough to have an edge, with both Ortiz’s eyes swelling around them. In the last six rounds, Ortiz fought enough in the judge’s eyes to make a close, if not disputed, decision.

Scores were 115-113, 115-113 and 117-111.

Former Olympic silver medalist, the WBO tussentage champion Southpaw Zhilei ‘Big Bang’ Zhang, 27-3-1 (22), was by the WBC Continental Americas, WBO Naba champion Agit Kabayel, 26-0 (18), at 2 : 29 of the sixth round of a scheduled 12 rounds.

In the third and fourth rounds, Kabayel injured Zhang with body shots and took both rounds. Zhang looks tired. In the fifth round, Zhang ended up a left hand on the chin and knocked down Kabayel for an 8 scores of referee Mark Lyson. Kabayel fought back the rest of the round well.

In the sixth round, Kabayel put down Zhang. Zhang took a knee, and when he got up, referee Lyson blew it down while Zhang was exhausted and in no form to continue.

2016 Olympic bronze medalist, WBO-TUSSENTAL World Light heavyweight champion Joshua Buatsi, 19-1 (13), loses against the former WBA, WBC Diamond Super Middleweight Champion Callum ‘Mundo’ Smith, 31-2 (22) by a 12-round unanimous decide.

In the first round, Smith Buatsi, who would sometimes clinch. In the second and third rounds, Smith Buatsi hampered. In the fourth round, Buatsi finally counteracted Smith and took a round.

In the fifth round, Smith Buatsi’s mouthpiece strikes with a left hook to the chin. In the sixth round, Smith drove a defenseless buatsi over the ring and landed to the left hook. In the last 20 seconds, Buatsi finally ends up a punch and drives Smith in the ropes, but is it enough to steal the round? In the seventh through the tithing, it went back and forth about who lands more.

In the eleventh and twelfth rounds, Smith Buatsi had on defense and continued his body attack. Both fighters were almost exhaustion.

The referee was Howard Foster. The scores were 119-110, 115-113 and 116-112.

Light Mohammed Alelel, 3-0), defeated angel ‘El Cohete’ Gomez, 8-43-3 (4) over six rounds.

In the first three rounds, Altel dominated the action. In the sixth and final round, Alelel Gomez expanded.

The score was 60-54.

Welterweight outlook Ziyad ‘Zizo’ Almaayouf, 7-0-1 (1) Jonatas ‘The Marajoara Monster’ Rodrigo Gomes de Oliveira, 6-21 (5) defeated six rounds.

In the three rounds, Almaayouf dominated. In the fifth round, Almaayouf Oliveira kept outside the country. On the halfway of the sixth and final round, Oliveira finally landed a few blows. In the last 30 seconds, Almaayouf opened for the clock.

Referee Howard Foster achieved it 60-54.
