Arthur son He withdrew from Wimbledon as he continues healing from a back injury.
The 21-year-old Frenchman suffered a stress fracture in his back during his epic victory Roland Garros against Jaume Munar.
Fils was forced to withdraw from Roland Garros, accepting a third -round walk on Andrey Rublev. He has not played from Paris.
“I have had any issues with my back for a long time and during the match against Munar IT (deteriorated),” Fils said in Paris last month. “Then I took some exams. The exams were not good at all.
“(I) I have a fracture of stress. What we decide with the team was better to stop now, because if I’m stopping now, I can stop for only four to six weeks. If I was pushing myself too much, I would probably stop for a few months. That’s not what we were trying to do, so (we) had to make a choice.”
FILS joins America Sebastian cord in withdrawal from Wimbledon.
Nr. 15 Fils arrived in Wimbledon’s fourth round last summer falling to Alex de minaur in four groups.
