Arsenal vs PSG was frustrating but the tie is not over yet

It was a really frustrating night for the arsenal against PSG.

There was so much excitement, expectation and anticipation before the game, given what had happened against Real Madrid, but things fell a little flat.

I know there have been many conversations about the atmosphere, but the stadium was absolutely bouncing before the starting shot, I’m not sure I felt so strong.

But the early goal seemed to explode the bubble. Sucked life out of place and things never came out again.

PSG was excellent in that half -hour opening. The goal obviously gave them a real boost in the beginning and gave Arsenal the hardest test that any team has given this season.

To be fair with Arsenal, I thought they returned to the game afterwards and it was all strength even from that moment on.

They could have been easily achieved, but Gianluigi Donnarumma took two fabulous savings to deny them. Leandro Trossard in the second half was absolutely fantastic.

But at the other end, PSG could also have expanded the advantage with the late possibilities for Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos, so things could have been worse for Arsenal.

The fact is that they are still on this tie and this is what they have to hang on the right. They have an incredibly difficult task ahead of Paris next week, but if they can go to the Bernabeu and win, they can go to the Princes Park and do the same.

They will have Thomas Partey again and will be really important.

His absence was huge last night. I thought Declan Rice played well in Holding’s role, but Arsenal lost its energy and falling boxes.

You saw PSG struggling to deal with it when he advanced to set up the possibility of a piece, but unfortunately he could not do it enough because he had to stay deeper than he usually does.

So, when I look at how Arsenal could turn things around next week, I think the return of part and the transfer of Rice again to the left could be fundamental. Mikel Merino could also return to the role of the striker, which will give the Arsenal a little more physical presence around the penalty area.

Now it will be difficult for Arsenal. There is no doubt about this.

You really felt they needed something to bring them for the second stage. It was a story similar to the Carabao Cup final when they lost home against Newcastle in the first game.

They couldn’t give things on that occasion and it is difficult to see them this time in Paris.

But they have a chance. It’s not over. But, as Mikel Arteta said later, to reach the final they will have to do something very special in the French capital.

Arsenal should have been to all the transfer of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a special player.

There are not many attackers who can make Jur Timber seem uncomfortable, but Kvaratskhelia certainly did so half an hour at the Emirates.

It is difficult to look at the actions he has put from moving to Paris and not thinking about what could have been for the arsenal if they had pushed the wing to land when he was made available to Napoli.

I said at that moment that Arsenal must have been above him and nothing has changed his mind.

But to be right with Arsenal, I think PSG had done so much work among racks in Kvaratskhelia that it was almost an agreement made. This was when, more than yes, he would end in Paris.

And it is certainly proven to be an excellent business for them.

I love to see him. The way he plays, the way he likes to run in turn. It is only a suitable end, a player who stands you every time he gets the ball.

It would have been a great complement to the Premier League and I know that Liverpool was said to be eager to land it.

But PSG quickly moved between racks to ensure that they were on the front of the queue, so I’m not too surprised that the clubs were not really. I think they were aware that he was going to Paris.

Kenan Yildiz linked to the arsenal, but this is the one who would sign …

Arsenal will be linked to several allers In front of the summer window, with Kenan Yildiz one of the last names to make the rounds.

I must say that it is not something that I have heard of myself, so I cannot confirm if there is any genuine interest, but I would be surprised if I had to be one of the priorities.

Nico Williams would still be the first choice of Mikel Arteta I would say. It was last summer and I think it will be again this time.

We will have to wait and see if it would be open to a distance with Bilbao. He chose to stay last year, Athletic Chief Ernesto Valverde has already been a record saying he hopes Williams to do the same this summer.

Personally, my choice would be Ebechi Eze. I think it’s perfect for arsenal and what they need.

I could play broad, or could play more central and provide more creative spark in these areas. He loves a shot from a distance, which also has to do more.

I saw Eze destroyed Aston Villa in the Cup’s semifinal last week and could only imagine doing the same with a Arsenal T-shirt.

I really hope this is something that the arsenal looks when the window opens.

Arsenal surely will not sign another Chelsea Flop

I know Christopher Nkunku has been related to arsenal Recently, but I don’t see this happening.

I am not sure that Arsenal’s fanbase could take the club by signing another Chelsea player to be honest.

He is a good player and probably has not played enough for Chelsea to be able to show all his qualities, but I do not see that he is the attacker that Arsenal needs to bring them to the next level.

The last thing they need is to bring another disappointing chelsea player who has fought for the form and confidence. Raheem Sterling must be the last of this type of signature.

Therefore, this transfer link is not what I see anywhere.
