Arsenal FC expert Charles Watts has provided us with his exclusive view of decision -making on transfers to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The Gunners recently brought Andrea Berta as sports director, which led to some stories about a difference in opinion between him and the manager Mikel Arteta.
Watts, however, writing in his last exclusive column for CapturedHe insists that there will be only collective decision -making in the club when it comes to transferring goals.
Although it may be that Arteta’s light preference is for Benjamin Sesko, and Berta would prefer to sign Viktor Gyokeres, it should not be a major problem.
In the end, Watts insists that Arsenal will not end up signing any player as Arteta himself does not want.

“I have seen the suggestion that Mikel Arteta and sports director Andrea Berta have different opinions on who should be Arsenal’s priority goal this summer when it is the new striker,” Watts wrote.
)There is no doubt that Arteta likes Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal’s length in RB Leipzig’s leader is evidence of this.
)But while we know that Berta likes Viktor Gyokeres Since their time in Atlético de Madrid, this does not mean that the couple has any disagreement onwards as we head to the summer window.
“Arsenal will not sign a striker who does not want to.
“So, even if you can prefer each other, if the other ends up being the striker, who finally signs that he will not mean that he has been a decision made against Arteta wishes.
“He would have given him the green light.
“Berta has become a powerful voice in Arsenal. His experience and ability to achieve offers on the line are considered crucial to help Arsenal have a little more advantage in the transfer window.
“But he works next to Arteta, not above him. The decisions that will be made will be collective.”
Who should sign the arsenal: Gyokeres or Sesko?
Fans will probably have different views on this, as it is not easy to know which of the two main names linked to Arsenal is actually the best striker.

It is clear that the table above shows a much better number for gyokes, but it plays a weaker league and is a few years older than Sesko.
It is difficult to imagine that the Sweden International could repeat numbers like this to the Premier League, which would be a great step from the level that is currently against Portugal.
Sesko may certainly be better, but he may still have some development to do it, and he can also find that he is better off with higher players around him as he would have in Arsenal.
