Lauren makes a great claim about Arsenal’s defensive force
“I think Real Madrid is the favorite. Madrid manages these situations better than anyone, that is why they have 15 titles in the Champions League,” said Lauren.
“They have incredibly talented players ahead, such as Vinicius, Bellingham, Mbappe and Rodrygo … and the same goes for the bench.
“However, I think it will be a very long tie. Arsenal can balance it for a number of reasons. They are much better than Real Madrid and also work well as a unit.
“Both the central centers (the interview was performed before the gravity of Gabriel’s injury was known) and the complete backs, in my opinion, are better than what Real Madrid has now. I think this can balance the score.”
The Arsenal has only been considered against Real Madrid once before in the Champions League, winning 1-0 at Bernabeu and drawing 0-0 in Highbury in the round of 16 in 2005/06.
