Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have not won in their last four games.
They have failed to beat Bournemouth, Liverpool, Newcastle United in the Premier League and their defeat against Inter Milan at the San Siro in the Champions League has raised questions about where Arsenal’s season is heading.
They are seven points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool and 12th in the Champions League.
Arteta’s side have struggled for goals in the last month, with Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard struggling to score at Arsenal.
according to Football Insiderthe Gunners are now planning a move for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak in the summer of 2025.
They were expected to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window, but Arteta showed faith in his current set of attackers, but it clearly hasn’t worked out well for the Premier League giants or the manager spanish
The Gunners have now realized they need firepower up front and Isak is the player who could provide that given his record for the Magpies.
Isak scored in Arsenal’s last Premier League defeat at St James’ Park and his goal proved to be the winner.
He showed what Newcastle United have and Arsenal don’t, a proper striker and not a makeshift striker.

After scoring 21 goals in the Premier League last season, Isak has shown that he is one of the best players in the league in his position.
Mick Brown, former Manchester United chief scout and someone who has insider information on some of the Premier League club’s dealings, has claimed that Arsenal are looking at Isak.
“Yes, I hear Arsenal are still looking at him,” he said. he told Football Insider.
“I think he’s as good as anyone, he’s one of the best in the world for me and he’d be an asset to almost any team.
“For any top-flight club in need of a centre-forward, he certainly fits the bill.
“He can run with the ball, he can hold it and bring his teammates into play, he can create and score goals.
“There aren’t many forwards in the world who can do those things as well as him.”
Newcastle would do anything to stop Arsenal from signing Isak
The Magpies consider him untouchable in their squad and the Gunners would struggle to sign the attacker.
Although Eddie Howe’s side are looking to tie him down to a new long-term deal at the club, they remain in a strong position as Isak has a contract that runs until 2028.
Isak can add goals to Arsenal’s attack and with pace and creativity on both flanks in Arteta’s side, the Swedish international striker would love to be part of Arsenal’s squad.
