Say what you want Wilson GolfBut the streets and hybrids of Dynapower 2023 were quietly extraordinary.
Yes, we said “extraordinary”.
Dynapower Wilson was, to the surprise of many people, Route Rated with MygolfSspy’s rating When debuting in 2023. It combined superior accuracy (as measured by the shocks gained) with more than enough distance and forgiveness. Last year, despite a host of income from the big brands, Dynapower still completed number 2 in general.
Dynapower hybrid was too a strong interpreter In both 2023 and 2024, ending the fourth in general both years. Like her brother in Fairway, Hybrid Wilson Dynapower was among the best in accuracy. He also combined enough distance and forgiveness to defeat challengers from title likes, Taylormade and Callaway.
Since the old watch on the wall says it’s time for an update, Wilson has faced a dynapower size challenge.
How the hell do you improve THAT?
2025 Wilson Dynapower Fairways and Hybrids: Hard Acts to Follow
Let me say here and now, for each of you there, that Dynapower Wilson of 2023 was the first 3rdri I haven’t hated since my MacGregor Tourney in 1983. Oh, I have gamed enough of 3-droop Then and now, but I hated one of them every last.
Can what can you do new dynapower to steal my heart? Well, for one, it can be two.
Yes, two.
“We have two straight wood models for the new Dynapower,” says Wilson Pro Harry Nodwell performance manager. “Carbon and maximum are the brothers of our young leaders.”
Wilson Dynapower Fairway carbon wood (or road metal, if you prefer) is the lowest rotation of both. It is not a low spin, according to Wilson, but like the Dynapower carbon driver, it is more of a lumbar road to low rotation.
Dynapower Max, as the name suggests, is the most forgiving of both and, according to Nodwell, is the replacement for the original Dynapower highway.
“We pushed the ball speed a little more to the maximum and tweaked it inside to get the sound and feel a little better.”
“We had really good success with the original,” adds Golf Club Innovation Manager Wilson Jon Pergande. “This was the starting basis for what would become Dynapower Max. But we felt we needed two different clubs to hit two different customers.”
Fairway versus the right path: Carbon versus max
If you compare Wilson Dynapower Carbon Woods and maximum road to up, changes are visible. Carbon is clearly better concentrated by players. More compact with a large front weight to knock the rotation. It also has something else that a Wilson Fairway Wood has not had in what looks like forever: an adjustable hose.
This does not seem like a big job but, for Wilson, is another sign that the company is getting more serious about metalwoods. Wilson is offering the new Dynapower carbon in its traditional wood 3-, 5- and 7, but is also adding a solid 13.5-step tree for the first time in the last memory, as well as a 4-druer 16.5-scope .
“I never thought we would come up with a 4-drru,” says Pergande, “but it’s what I get more in the course. Really really easy to hit.”
Wilson’s new hosel can adjust the attic (and facial angle) a staircase down or two degrees up to half -scale. This will cover the lofts ranging from 12.5 degrees at the lower end of the 3-hardwood up to 23 degrees with the highest attic at 7-Dru.
Dynapower 2025 carbon, as the name suggests, contains a carbon wreath to get lower CG. It also has a tungsten weight of 30 grams near the face to promote lower release and rotation. The face is a PKR optimized with it (peak kinetic reaction) 360 face of variable thickness made of counterfeit steel 455.
New Dynapower Wilson Maks, on the other hand, contains a tied sock and comes to the traditionally connected trees 3-, 5- and 7. Like the previous dynapower road, it contains a thin cast steel crown and a cg low and rear. A back weight with 12 grams promotes a higher boot and rotation.
Wilson Dynapower Hybrids
Wilson’s new access to metalwoods stops at the hybrids, at least for 2025. Influx It only presents a hybrid model and you will need to look closely to see any physical changes.
“We changed our face to form a little,” Nodwell explains. “The toe area has expanded to create a larger striking surface and more stability in the foot shots. The overall appearance, however, is still quite compact.”
The new Dynapower hybrid uses the same forged 455 steel material used in maximum road forests. Like Max Fairways, new hybrids will display a tied sock.
“Still still a low CG and Moi High game,” says Pergande. “It is a replacement of iron than a clean distance club. This is for the golf player who wants to start it up and stop it in green while still getting the distance they want. “
Lite my fire
As is with the new Dynapower Driver’s collection, Wilson will offer Dynapower Max Fairways and Dynapower Hybrids in a new Lite configuration. It is a fancy way to say that Wilson will offer both with light shafts. The interesting part is Wilson’s reasoning.
“It will have the easiest axis possible to help the player get the ball in the air,” Nodwell says. “We are not throwing a specific product of men or ladies. There is no connection to gender. “
“Wilson Fit he formalized what we already knew,” he adds. “There is no kind of shaking for men and another kind of swing for women. So we are removing gender determinations from our clubs and focusing on weight, length and play.
