Golf Magazine is currently accepting applications for our future harvest of the 100 best teachers in America.

There is nothing more important to us on golf.com and Golf rather than helping our readers enjoy the golf game. And such a way we try to live up to that mission is through the guidelines of golf experts from the brightest minds in the game.

Our exclusivity of 100 teachers is the backbone of this cause. With their help, we are always looking for ways we can help you improve.

This year, we are updating Golf Top 100 Teachers in America List this group is the heartbeat of our vertical instructions, helping us rely on the brightest minds of the game to create content on print, digital, social and golf videos. The list remains the golf standard for talent, expertise and teaching innovation.

As part of the update process, we are issuing a public application available to any coach at the USA each submission will be assessed by a Committee of 100 Current Teachers and Famous Hall members in order to identify the best golf instructors in the country.

This committee will consult a diverse range of experts during the process to make sure not to leave any contaminated stone. The end result is a list that we believe includes the best teachers in America that can help you play your best.

Minimum criteria

To be considered for Top Teacher Status 100, an instructor must have at least 12 years of full -time teaching experience and spending at least 750 hours a year actively learning Golf (through individual lessons, group, clinics, schools, classes, presentations, seminars, workshops, etc.). Moreover, an instructor must spend at least 750 hours in other teaching activities and instructions. Examples of the latter include organizing lessons, communicating with students, writing articles, filming the video, learning, reading and /ing a field related to the field of golf teaching. Combined minimum annual total = 1,500 hours.

Selection process

Applications are controlled against the initial fifteen criteria recommended by the Top 100 Teachers’ Credential Committee.

7) Impact on the instructions community

13) Game growth
14) Volunteering
15) Student results

Applications are then examined and sorted by a group of 15 active teachers and formerly the best. Final recommendations are then made by a separate selection committee, composed of GolfThe editors of the guidance founded the 100 teachers and the first Alumnis, and invited members of the world golf teachers’ fame. (Recommendations are based on an in -depth summary of the fifteen initial criteria with the following emphasis on: shaky knowledge, communication skills, innovative teaching ideas, flexibility in learning different types of learning, proven success, willingness to exchange knowledge with peers, longevity, successful players, and prices. Selection are subjected to subject to overtaking in industry, industry prices and number of appointments, recommendations and presentations. Golf for the final decision.
