Anthony Yarde says Turki Alalshikh personally came to him and asked if he wanted to be the opponent of David Banavidez to defend his WBC lights of heavyweight title on November 22 in the ANB arena in Riyadh. Yarde (27-3, 24 CO’s) said he immediately agreed to the fight against Benavidez (30-0, 24 COs).
There is a setback for this choice, because Yarde is a two -time loser in his world title efforts, and he has never beaten an world -class opposition at the level of world class. It is unfair to the other contenders that Yarde gets repeated world title shots, despite not achieving an important victory over top fighters.

Who are these people? At 33, Yarde must have acted to the world class level after being destroyed by betterbiev. Why did he fight against this scab? I know the answer. To build and repeat a false record for a coil to get empty wins, and get a title shot because he didn’t do anything.
Yarde: Can he upset benavidez?

This battle does not form an ‘entertaining’ one for fans unless they enjoy watching too much opposition fed to the executor, Banavidez. Yarde is British level, and failed in the two times he acted against world -level fights in his knockout losses to Artur Betterbiev and Sergey Kovalev.
Turki Alalshikh’s yard choice
“Turki Alalshikh said he wants me,” Yarde said when asked how he got this title shot to challenge Benavidez. “I said,” Ah, it’s an honor. “He asked me, I want the fight, and I said,” Absolutely. ” He said, “Okay.” I asked him to go through the little details with my team.
“He said there were four or five other fighters, including me. He told me the names, but he said he wanted me,” Yarde said.

It would have been better for the fans if Turki mentioned one of the above fighters to use as the opponent for benavidez than to regain the Yarde for another undeserved world title. If none of the fighters were available above, Turki had to reach out to Super Middleweight contenders Osley Iglesias, Diego Pacheco and Christian Mbilli to see if they were willing to fight against the Mexican monster.
